Walker Takes Off The Gloves, Lands Knockout Blow In Debate With Warnock

The mainstream media has been trying to derail Hershel Walker’s U.S. Senate bid in Georgia, but he keeps on fighting like the world-class athlete that he is.

During a heated debate this week, the Republican didn’t hold anything back when taking on his Democratic opponent, incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock.

He paid particular attention to a scandal that many leftist news outlets have been avoiding like the plague.

According to Breitbart:

Georgia Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker annihilated Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) during Friday’s night debate for dodging questions about his church’s effort to evict apartment residents.

“It is written in the paper,” Walker charged Warnock. “Senator, you did [try to evict], and it is okay to speak the truth. Do not bear false witness against your neighbor, senator,” Walker said.

“Do not bear false witness,” Walker repeated. “He won’t answer about people evicted by the church … You’re evicting them right now.”

His argument on this topic and others was enough for a number of viewers to determine that he won the debate.

Some conservative sources have shed light on the plight of those living in the apartments owned by Warnock’s church.

Many of the tenants have struggled with homelessness, mental illness, and other issues before they were threatened with eviction over a matter of a few dollars in late rent.

As the Washington Free Beacon reported:

Columbia Tower residents, who told the Free Beacon they were unaware that Ebenezer Baptist Church owns their building, described living under the rule of landlords who don’t hesitate to go to court to evict them and their neighbors, even if they’re just a few days short on rent.

“They treat me like a piece of shit. They’re not compassionate at all,” said Columbia Tower resident Phillip White, a 69-year-old African American who says he served in Vietnam and received an eviction notice on Sept. 20 for failure to meet a $192 rent payment. It was Columbia Tower’s second attempt to evict White, who received his first eviction notice in September 2021 for $179 in past-due rent. That case was dropped after White paid up, plus an additional $325 in fees, he told the Free Beacon.

Here’s how Walker was feeling after the debate:
