Trump’s Truth Social was previously only limited to those who have access to the Apple or Samsung stores but now the app has officially been listed on Google Playstore.
Now everyone has access to download Truth Social no matter who phone device they are using.
Previously Google prevented Truth Social from being on its play store but after watching their competitors Samsung and Apple, Google had no chance but to put Trump’s social media platform on its store.
If you haven’t already gotten Truth Social, make sure to download it now.

CNN had these details to add:
Truth Social, the social media app backed by former President Donald Trump, has been approved for the Google Play Store, Google said Wednesday.
The decision means Truth Social will now be downloadable to Android smartphones via Google’s proprietary app store, after Truth Social moved to implement stronger content moderation policies.
Google had previously said Truth Social could not appear in its app store until it had implemented policies that sufficiently addressed incitement and threats of violence. It had also said social media apps on the Google Play store must provide an in-app system for reporting objectionable content. (Truth Social had already been available to some Android devices via non-Google sources, such as the Samsung Galaxy store.)

The Inside Paper had more detail to report:
Google on Wednesday said it has allowed Donald Trump’s Truth Social app in its Play Store for Android devices — after receiving assurances it would meet the platform’s standards for moderating harmful content.
The app — which Trump launched after being barred from Twitter over the 2021 Capitol riot — had been kept out of Google’s store over its lack of moderation tools, including for violent threats.
Google said Truth Social had since been updated to comply with its policies barring objectionable posts, and had built in effective systems for reporting and removing unwanted content as well as blocking abusers.
“Apps may be distributed on Google Play provided they comply with our developer guidelines, including the requirement to effectively moderate user-generated content and remove objectionable posts such as those that incite violence,” a Google spokesperson said in response to an AFP inquiry.
