Biden Brags He Can Beat Trump In New Interview

Biden bragged he could beat Trump “again” in his latest interview.

The only problem with Biden’s boastful declaration is he didn’t even beat Trump the first time!

In Biden’s latest interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, the CNN anchor asked Biden “Is one of the calculations that you think you’re the only one who can beat Donald Trump?”

Biden responded by saying “I believe I can beat Donald Trump again.”

Watch the moment he said it here:

The New York Post had more details to add to the story:

Biden said Tuesday that the US economy may see a “slight recession” but that he still believes he would “beat Donald Trump again” in 2024.

Biden denied the economy is in the midst of a recession — despite it meeting the standard definition of two consecutive quarters of contraction — but acknowledged in an interview on CNN that a downturn could happen.

“I don’t think there will be a recession. If it is, it’ll be a very slight recession. That is, we’ll move down slightly,” Biden told Jake Tapper in the taped, 15-minute interview.

Despite economic uncertainty, Biden, who turns 80 next month, told Tapper he’s still considering running for president — something he’s consistently told allies he plans to do.

Tapper asked, “Is one of the calculations that you think you’re the only one who can beat Donald Trump?”

Biden replied, “I believe I can beat Donald Trump again.”

MSN added more details:

Joe Biden on Tuesday expressed confidence that he could beat former President Donald Trump again in a hypothetical showdown in the 2024 presidential election.

“I think I can beat Donald Trump again,” Biden said during an interview with CNN, after being asked if he believes he is the only Democratic Party candidate capable of beating the former president.

The current US president said that for now he is focused on the mid-term elections, which will take place on November 8, and in which a large part of the composition of the House of Representatives and the US Senate will be elected.
