BREAKING: NYC Mayor Declares State Of EMERGENCY

Ladies and gentlemen, the irony is REAL…

Liberal sanctuary cities like New York City pride themselves on their ‘tolerance’ and ‘compassion’ from their mile-high soap boxes, built from materials manufactured by slave labor in China.

These folks want to decry places like Texas for attempting to secure the southern border. They want to call people xenophobic for a failure to absorb 17,000 migrants every few days into small townships and cities…

Now the Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, has declared a state of emergency over 17,000 migrants being bussed into the city from places like Texas.

These 17,000 migrants represent 0.1% of NYC’s population…

Here’s what we currently know:

Mediaite shared this excerpt from Adams’ speech:

“Unless we take immediate action, that center will be full in days and we will have to open another and another and another even as winter weather arrives,” he added.

“As a result of that reality, today I’m declaring a state of emergency in the city of New York and issuing an executive order.

This executive order will formally direct all relevant agencies to coordinate their efforts to construct the humanitarian relief centers. We’ll also suspend certain land-use requirements to expedite this process.”

Fox News adds:

“This is a humanitarian crisis that started with violence and instability in South America and is being accelerated by American political dynamics,” Adams said Friday.

“Thousands of asylum seekers have been bused into New York City and simply dropped off, without notice, coordination, or care — and more are arriving every day.”
