BREAKING: New York AG Letitia James Files Civil Lawsuit Against Donald Trump and Eldest Children

New York Attorney General Letitia James continues her Stalinist witch-hunt of Donald Trump and his family.

James filed a lawsuit Wednesday against Trump, his three eldest children and the Trump Organization, alleging business fraud and inflating assets.

“In the suit, which runs more than 200 pages, James’ office details what it says are the former president’s efforts to inflate his personal net worth to attract favorable loan agreements and lists more than 200 alleged instances of fraud over 10 years,” NBC News states.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, New York investigators have already debunked this claim.

Letitia James has viciously attacked and smeared Donald Trump since she entered office.

“Today’s filing is neither focused on the facts nor the law — rather, it is solely focused on advancing the Attorney General’s political agenda. It is abundantly clear that the Attorney General’s Office has exceeded its statutory authority by prying into transactions where absolutely no wrongdoing has taken place. We are confident that our judicial system will not stand for this unchecked abuse of authority, and we look forward to defending our client against each and every one of the Attorney General’s meritless claims,” said Alina Habba, an attorney for Trump.

James held a press conference about the lawsuit filed against Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump.

James is seeking to bar the Trump family from being in the office of any New York-based company for five years and from receiving loans from any New York-registered financial institution for that same amount of time. She is also seeking about $250 million in penalties.

“For too long, powerful, wealthy people in this country have operated as if the rules do not apply to them,” James said in a statement. “Donald Trump stands out as among the most egregious examples of this misconduct. With the help of his children and senior executives at the Trump Organization, Donald Trump falsely inflated his net worth by billions of dollars to unjustly enrich himself and cheat the system.”

James’ office said in a release that the former president made fraudulent and misleading statements “in both their composition and their presentation.” Trump made known through Allen Weisselberg, the Trump Organization’s former chief financial officer, that he wanted his net worth to increase every year and used financial statements as a “vehicle” to fraudulently inflate his net worth by billions of dollars annually, the office alleges.

This has already been debunked and is another baseless political attack.

“Attorney General Letitia “Peekaboo” James, a total crime fighting disaster in New York, is spending all of her time fighting for very powerful and well represented banks and insurance companies, who were fully paid, made a lot of money, and never had a complaint about me, instead of fighting murder and violent crime, which is killing New York State. She is a failed A.G. whose lack of talent in the fight against crime is causing record numbers of people and companies to flee New York. Bye, bye!” Trump said via Truth Social.
