Although Biden seemingly walked back his comments from Thursday’s disgusting speech, his advisors aren’t backing down from the divisive rhetoric.
White House senior advisor Keisha Lance Bottoms asserted on Sunday that the “hate-filled MAGA agenda” has “no place in a democracy.”
Bottoms made the remarks during an appearance on ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday.
“This MAGA Republican agenda, this hate-filled agenda … that we saw incite violence on our nation’s Capitol has no place in a democracy,” Bottoms said.
“And if we are not intentional about calling it out, which is what the president did, then our country, everything that our country is built upon, is in danger.”
Bottoms also pushed the narrative that "mainstream" Republicans can be the good guys by helping pass Democrat legislation
“What the president has said is that mainstream Republicans, independents, Democrats can all come together,” she said.
“We’ve seen us come together to do what’s right on behalf of the American people.”

The Gateway Pundit added:
The “MAGA agenda,” Bottoms said, has “been about distorting the truth” and “misleading people.”
“What the president has done as our commander in chief is he’s reminded us that democracies are fragile,” she said. “And if we are not intentional about preserving who we are as a country, if we are not intentional about reminding ourselves that there is a rule of law in this country, then we will be in danger.”
During a speech in Pennsylvania on Saturday, Trump fired back at Biden and declared him an “enemy of the state.”
“You’re all enemies of the state,” Trump said. “He’s an enemy of the state if you want to know the truth. The enemy of the state is him and the group that control him, which is circling around him. ‘Do this, do that, Joe.’”
“How’d you like the red lighting behind him like the devil?” Trump asked.
