Dennis Rodman Destroys Hopes For Brittney Griner

I honestly hope she gets out of Russian prison somehow…

Dennis Rodman was strongly considering heading to Russia to negotiate for the release of WNBA star Brittney Griner; Rodman has become somewhat of a diplomat following his rapport building with the North Korean leadership.

Those plans have apparently changed due to strong discouragement from State Department officials…

I don’t need to tell you the weakness this shows on the part of the Biden administration and the current American government.

Critics of the recent move say that Rodman should go despite the warnings from the State Department if he truly believes that he can help the situation.

Rodman did not specify exactly who gave him permission to travel to Russia, as he would need a visa from the Russian government to enter the country.

Dennis Rodman now says he is not going to Russia to negotiate freedom for WNBA star Brittney Griner. Looks like State Dept. weenie persuaded him not to intervene because he might upset negotiations. Poppycock. Rodman should go if he thinks he can help.

ABC News continued:

A State Department spokesperson, Ned Price, told ABC News during a press briefing on Monday that if Rodman did travel to Russia, “He would not be traveling on behalf of the U.S. government.”

“We believe that anything other than negotiating further through the established channel is likely to complicate and hinder those release efforts,” Price added.
