It might come as no surprise that more and more Americans are struggling to make ends meet and are increasingly concerned about the future as the Biden administration drags on.
One new Gallup poll, however, put the stark reality into clear terms that even the leftist media can’t ignore.
According to Newsmax:
A record percentage of Americans say they are suffering, a new Gallup poll found.

The survey found that 5.6% of Americans in July evaluated their lives poorly enough to be considered suffering on Gallup’s Life Evaluation Index — the highest number since the index began in 2008.
The previous high for suffering Americans was 4.8% in April.
While Newsmax and other conservative-leaning outlets were quick to report the staggering new results, even some mainstream sources felt compelled to share the upsetting news.

Old and busted: “Misery Index.” New hotness: “Suffering Index.” Bidenomics has produced the highest of both in a very long while.

It’s also worth noting that the number of people who believe that they are “thriving” in the current economic climate has been trending downward for more than a year.
While the Biden administration wants us to believe that job creation and the unemployment rate are the only metrics that matter, it’s painfully obvious that Americans are being dragged down by runaway inflation, global uncertainty, and the fact that the president doesn’t seem to have any idea what he’s doing.
According to Axios:
The big picture: The percentage of U.S. adults classified as “thriving” has declined steadily since it reached a record high of 59.2% in June 2021.
July’s estimate of 51.2% [of] adults classified as “thriving” is an 18-month low, per Gallup.
The percentage of Republicans who are classified as suffering has doubled since June 2021, Gallup found, and among Democrats, it has jumped to 5.4%, almost double the 2.9% from a year ago.
In addition to general life ratings, the percentage of Americans who report experiencing stress is up to 48%, compared with 43% in July 2021.
There’s a reason that Biden’s approval rating keeps circling the drain across America and around the world, as this Fox Business clip explains:
