Taxpayers are now paying for Biden’s personal property.

A new $500,000 security fence is now being resurrected outside of Biden’s beach house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

Back in September of 2021, the Department of Homeland Security transferred a half million dollars to a Sussex County, Delaware construction company to build the fence.

It appears Biden wants a wall for himself but not a wall on the Southern Border.

Fox News had more details to add:

After spending much of his summer vacation on Kiawah Island, South Carolina, President Biden is heading back to his multimillion-dollar beach house in his home state of Delaware, where he’s building a taxpayer-funded security fence at a cost that’s ballooned to nearly $500,000.

Biden is expected to arrive at his $2.7 million summer house in the North Shores community of Rehoboth Beach on Saturday after spending the last couple nights in Wilmington, Delaware, according to data released by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). On Wednesday, Biden was briefly at the White House signing of the $739 billion Inflation Reduction Act into law.

In September 2021, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) awarded $456,548 to a Sussex County company to construct a security fence around the president’s home.

The DHS contract with Turnstone Holdings LLC for the “purchase and installation of security fencing” at the residence has since increased to $490,324 this summer, according to the website USAspending.gov, an online database of federal government spending.

The DHS is listed as the main awarding and funding office of the contract while the U.S. Secret Service is listed as the subagency.

Construction of the fence began on Sept. 21 of last year and is expected to be completed by June 6, 2023.

The Insider Paper reported these details:

The cost of the security fence around President Joe Biden Delaware beach house has gone up to $500K, NY Post reported Friday. The construction cost has increased by $34,000 in less than a year.

Initially, the construction of the security fence was expected to be completed last year. However, the project will potentially get completed by the spring of 2023.

According to NY Post, the expected date of completion is June 6, 2023. The project was delayed by more than a year and a half.

Biden will use taxpayer funds to pay for the expenses of building the fence for his beach vacation home, according to the Daily Mail.

The Department of Homeland Security awarded a contract for $456,000 last September. It was for the ‘purchase and installation of security fencing’ to Delaware-based construction company Turnstone Holdings LLC.

However, the cost to taxpayers has risen by nearly $34,000 as of Friday. The current total cost is $490,324 in less than a year of construction, according to USAspending.gov, an online database of federal spending information.
