We’ve heard enough about voter fraud over the last several years.
It’s time to start hearing more about the arrests of those who commit voter fraud.
That’s just what we got on Thursday out of the Sunshine state.
Florida governor Ron DeSantis announced that 20 people have been arrested for voting illegally.
“The Office of Election Crimes and Security, in conjunction with the Attorney General’s office and the FDLE, has charged and is in the process of arresting 20 individuals across the state for voter fraud,” said governor DeSantis.
He noted that the majority of the individuals had been convicted of either murder or sexual assault, and therefore should have been disenfranchised under Florida law.

The Post Millennial reports on the arrests:
Thursday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced that the state had arrested and charged 20 individuals who had voted illegally.
“They are disqualified from voting because they’ve been convicted of either murder or sexual assault and they do not have the right to vote,” DeSantis explained. The governor noted that most of these individuals voted illegally in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami Dade counties, but that his efforts were statewide in tracking down anyone who committed this crime.
DeSantis made the announcement in a press conference:

Good for DeSantis.
If we’re ever going to do something serious about voter fraud, it has to be taken seriously on every level.
