Liz Cheney is out.
That shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.
Her level of delusion may have shocked a few people though.
In Cheney’s goodbye speech, she actually had the gull to compare herself to Abraham Lincoln:
“Abraham Lincoln was defeated in elections for the Senate and House before he won the most important election of all.”
Someone thinks very highly of herself.
Too bad she’s the only one..
A big reason for Cheney’s loss was a man that’s living rent-free in her head, President Donald Trump.
Her obsession with President Trump was ultimately her downfall as she lost big to challenger Harriet Hageman.
Here’s Cheney’s delusional farewell speech:

Come on Liz.
Nobody is buying this one…
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but Liz Cheney is not Abraham Lincoln.

Someone should inform Liz Cheney that Abraham Lincoln would have voted for Harriet Hageman.

Liz Cheney compared herself to Abraham Lincoln last night in her concession speech.
Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves from the Democrats, he didn’t become a slave to the Democrats.

Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves and Liz Cheney grew her net worth by 600% in just 6 years as a Member of Congress.
The two are not comparable.

Liz Cheney compared herself to Abraham Lincoln because I believe she's truly delusional, wants a Civil War and thinks her side would win.

Liz Cheney really compared herself to Lincoln… LMFAO. That CNN & MSDNC fluffing really got to her carpetbagger/warmonger head. pic.twitter.com/vuwvDnLIeV

A clear message is being sent about what the Republican Party needs to be.
It’s not anything like liar Liz Cheney, who is nothing like Abraham Lincoln.
— Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene🇺🇸 (@RepMTG) August 17, 2022
Liz Cheney's political career began in 2014 when she announced a run for senate in Wyoming with a Facebook post geotagged to McLean, Virginia.
It ended with her comparing herself to Abraham Lincoln after losing her congressional seat by over 35 points.

Cheney didn’t just lose.
She lost big!
She gave her concession speech while down 30 points.
Here’s more on her loss from Fox News:
Several Republican lawmakers and conservative pundits took to social media Tuesday night to share their thoughts after Rep. Liz Cheney — one of 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach former President Trump — lost her primary election in Wyoming.
Cheney, who currently serves as vice-chair of the House’s Jan. 6 committee investigating the Capitol protests, lost the Wyoming primary election to Republican Harriet Hageman, a Trump-backed primary challenger.
The conservative lawmaker and defense hawk immediately came under verbal attack from Trump and his allies, and in May of last year, she was ousted from her number-three House GOP leadership position.
Shortly after it became apparent that Cheney would suffer defeat — she was losing by more than 30 percentage points when she delivered a concession speech — several pundits and Congressional Republicans took to Twitter to celebrate the news and congratulate Hageman.
It was ultimately quite a humiliating defeat for Cheney.

Cheney lost by 36 points, in part due to her obsessive hatred towards President Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, the woman who unseated her, Harriet Hageman, remained focused on the real issues in Wyoming.

BREAKING: Rep. Liz Cheney loses the Republican primary in Wyoming to Trump-backed challenger Harriet Hageman, NBC News projects. https://t.co/J5EOZKA9zx

Cheney’s obsession with Trump lost her this one for sure.
More on that from NBC:
Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., a onetime House GOP leader and a daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, was ousted in a Republican primary Tuesday night, NBC News projects.
Former President Donald Trump’s name wasn’t on the ballot, but his shadow eclipsed the contest as he sought revenge for Cheney’s vote last year to impeach him and her work on the committee investigating his behavior leading up to the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. His hand-picked challenger, Harriet Hageman, defeated Cheney in a multi-candidate race.
With 80% of the vote counted before midnight, Hageman was leading Cheney by more than 32 points. But the result didn’t put an end to hostilities between Trump and Cheney. Instead, she vowed to escalate them.
“This primary election is over,” Cheney told her supporters, drawing a clear contrast between her acceptance of the outcome and Trump’s ongoing refusal to admit he lost the 2020 election. “But now the real work begins.”
Few people in Washington have been as wrong and damaging on foreign policy as Liz Cheney. Congratulations to @HagemanforWY on her victory tonight. I look forward to working with an advocate for liberty as the next Congresswoman from Wyoming. Bye Liz.

Liz Cheney fundamentally misunderstands why people are so passionately angry at her inside the GOP base. Which is why she actually lost.
