The only disease they should be worried about is modern ‘progressive’ liberalism…
It’s insane to me that we could literally hold an award show for the liberal aneurysm of the week and I don’t think we would ever run out of content. They freak out about everything—especially trifles.
This week’s liberal conniption comes straight out of New York City—the world’s premier progressive hell-hole.
New York’s sage mayor, Eric Adams, has seen it fit to declare a city-wide emergency over monkeypox—a disease that some have pointed out has a death toll of a measly 5 people worldwide.
His move echoes the other incompetent at the helm of New York—Governor Kathy Hochul.
These people are sick, one wants to mandate Covid-19 injections for children, and the other proposed a plan to start quarantine camps in New York.
Given that these are the two individuals declaring the emergency, and given the fact that Monkeypox isn’t all that lethal—it isn’t even a concern, in my opinion, I can only assume that this is all part of an engineered collapse.
Why else would they be paying this much attention to a non-fatal disease?
What these two want to do is impose more lockdowns, more restrictions, and further destroy the economic situation in New York.
An upright person would have learned the lessons from the Covid lockdowns: they don’t work. They clearly don’t work and only cause more problems.
In fact, the entire idea of government only causes more problems. The state is a cancer that we desperately need to cure through the only way we know how to destroy cancer.

Eric Adams and Dr. Ashwin Vasan made this statement via CNN:
“We estimate that approximately 150,000 New Yorkers may currently be at risk for monkeypox exposure,” Mayor Eric Adams and Dr. Ashwin Vasan, commissioner of the city’s health and mental hygiene department, said in a joint statement.
“This outbreak must be met with urgency, action, and resources, both nationally and globally, and this declaration of a public health emergency reflects the seriousness of the moment.”
The U.S., despite having time and tools to fight monkeypox, has failed to stop the virus from spreading rapidly.

Insider Paper adds:
Because the governor has declared a state of emergency in New York, the mayor can suspend local laws and enact rules as needed to protect the well-being and health of all New Yorkers.
