What The Congressional Baseball Game Tells Us About The 2022 Midterms

A lack of civility and constant virtue signaling on the environment?

The recent Congressional baseball game was the perfect analog for the state of the Democratic Party in 2022, and it sure as hell doesn’t look good for them.

In a decisive 10-0 victory for the GOP, we see something of a precursor of events to come…

Couple this with the climate protests going on outside, and the discourteous behavior of Rep. Linda Sanchez, and we get a crystal clear picture of how the 2022 midterms are going down…

A red wave while libs are stuck outside fighting about the environment.

Protecting the environment is great, but it really doesn’t mean anything. Unless concrete problems are solved using concrete solutions the conversation surrounding them is pointless and largely symbolic.

Soaring inflation, a looming food shortage, and an energy crisis are all concrete issues plaguing Americans now, and Americans want answers now.

Unfortunately for Democrats, all they have are useless gestures and empty virtue signaling about the nebulous chasms of ‘racism’, ‘the environment, and ‘social justice’.

I wasn’t the only one to notice the tumult:

Fox News reports:

The Republicans were up 4-0 over the Democrats in the 4th inning, ahead of the delay, and ultimately won the friendly contest, shutting out their opponents 10-0.

Climate protests erupted outside of the game, according to Human Events:

Three protesters were arrested Thursday evening after blocking one of the entrances to Nationals Park during the 87th annual Congressional Baseball Game in Washington, DC, as activists demanded lawmakers address climate change.
