Chris Cuomo has been out of the spotlight for several months after being fired from CNN.
Cuomo was fired after he allegedly violated CNN’s journalistic standards after he reportedly tried to cover up his brother former Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo’s sexual harassment scandal.
Well now Cuomo is no longer unemployed and he is now employed as a news anchor at NewsNation.
NewsNation is a much smaller network than CNN but the news company is probably the only media company right now willing to take a chance on Cuomo.

People Magazine released these details:
Chris Cuomo is returning to the small screen.
The former CNN anchor will take on a new Primetime position at NewsNation, he revealed Tuesday while in conversation with NewsNation host Dan Abrams.
“I want to find a way to help people. I am going to come to NewsNation and I want to build something special here,” Cuomo, 51, said during the 9 p.m. broadcast. “Work with Dan, work with the team here — they’ve got great people who are really hungry to make a difference in ways that I think matter.”
Cuomo’s decision extends past his desire for a new hosting gig. Outlining the type of network he is willing to join, he said: “I’ve decided that I can’t go back to what people see as ‘the big game.'”
“I think we need insurgent media, I think we need outlets that aren’t fringe and just trying to fill their pockets,” he continued. “I’m gonna do the job. I’m gonna go where the news is. And I’m gonna try very hard to be fair. And I want to do it here. I want to make a difference, and I really hope it makes a difference for you.”
Former CNN anchor @ChrisCuomo told NewsNation’s @danabrams on Tuesday that he’s “proud” of how his brother — former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo — handled his “struggle” amid allegations of sexual harassment last year.

The Hill got the scoop too:
Former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo has been hired by startup cable network NewsNation to host a show in primetime this fall.
Cuomo on Tuesday evening appeared as a guest on Dan Abrams’s prime-time show on NewsNation, his first television appearance since being fired by CNN, just before the outlet announced his hiring. Cuomo discussed with Abrams his new role at the network and spoke on the scandal that led to his firing last year.
“I don’t think I’ve ever been a victim of anything ever in my life. … I don’t feel sorry for myself,” Cuomo told Abrams. “You make choices. You make a choice to be in this business. You make a choice to be in that dynamic and to want to be relevant. And it’s not always going to be easy. It’s not always going to be fair.”
CNN suspended and then fired Cuomo in December, parting ways with its top-rated prime-time anchor after he was found to have misled executives at the cable news giant about his contacts with aides to his brother Andrew Cuomo and journalists covering the sexual harassment scandal that led to the former New York governor’s resignation.
“I never contacted any media who were covering my brother to try to affect their coverage,” Cuomo told Abrams on Monday. “I talk to people in the media all the time. They’re most of the people in my life.”
Cuomo’s firing also came just days after CNN reportedly received a letter from an attorney for a woman claiming the anchor had sexually assaulted her years ago.
