Madison Cawthorn can’t seem to stay off the news, and I may just have a theory as to why…
According to a recent article in the leftist outlet, Daily Beast, Cawthorn is on the hook for general campaign contributions which he spent on his primary campaign—a campaign which Cawthorn lost To Chuck Edwards.
Previously, Cawthorn faced criticism and pushback for his alleged role in pushing LGB Coin—a digital meme currency poking fun at the current ‘President’.
I would say that he is simply a young Senator steeped in scandal—who wouldn’t be while bestowed with such power and responsibility at such a young age?

However, saying this ignores one inconvenient fact…
Earlier this year, Madison Cawthorn levied some pretty serious allegations against both the GOP and the wider D.C. establishment.
Cawthorn went on record claiming that several of these senior lawmakers invited him to drug & sex orgies and that these practices were the norm in Washington.
He went on to detail how certain lawmakers, who were on addiction and drug councils, would snort cocaine right in front of him.
After he blew the whistle on the D.C. depravity, minority leader Kevin McCarthy had a stern conversation with him behind closed doors in an effort to reprimand him.
The 26-year-old North Carolina Rep refused to walk back his comments.
Could this be why we are seeing so many scandals and negative media pieces directed at Cawthorn?
Here’s what we currently know:
SCOOP: Madison Cawthorn’s campaign ended in a financial collapse, covering costs with donor money it wasn’t allowed to touch unless he won the primary. According to a campaign source, he owes donors hundreds of thousands, but he’s broke. Me @thedailybeasthttps://t.co/Kcwnvqa5v8

Daily Beast dissected some of the allegations:
Congressional pay data shows that North Carolina Republican paid his chief of staff, Blake Harp, $131,278 in 2021. That actually ranks Harp at the low end of compensation for chiefs of staff in Congress.
But why he was paid that specific amount could be highly relevant.
House ethics rules stipulate that senior congressional staff can only earn $29,595 in outside income each year.
