President Trump Responds to Dropped Charges Against Colbert Staffers for Unlawfully Entering U.S. Capitol

Several employees of Stephen Colbert’s show were arrested last month for unlawfully entering the U.S. Capitol.

The group of nine people were arrested in the Longworth House Office Building after being escorted out of the Jan. 6 committee hearing earlier in the day because they did not have proper press credentials, according to sources.

On Monday, a Biden-appointed US Attorney gave the Stephen Colbert staffers a get-out-of-jail-free card and dropped the charges.

The US Attorney’s Office announced that they are cleared of “unlawful entry” and the charges are now dropped.

Graves also works for US Attorney General Merrick Garland.

“It turns out [Graves] is also the prosecutor investigating January 6th,” Fox News host Jesse Watters said.

President Trump blasted the hypocrisy, saying that Colbert’s staffers “were treated so differently than the Unselects are treating so many of our great American Patriots.”

He ended by calling the decision “NOT FAIR!”
