NEW Uvalde Footage: Cops Check Cell Phones, Sanitize Hands During Mass Shooting

Immediately in the aftermath of the horrific Uvalde mass shooting, the national conversation was around guns and gun control.

Why?

Because the Left wanted to politicize the tragedy instead of waiting for the facts to come out.

And now… the facts are coming out slowly.

The more we learn, the clearer it appears that this tragedy could have been prevented.

NEW security camera footage shows Uvalde cops standing around inside the school doing nothing.

Literally nothing.

In fact, one cop appeared so bored that he took out his cell phone and was checking it.

Yet another cop went up to the wall to get hand sanitizer while children were being shot down.

HAND SANITIZER!

It sounds like he was more afraid of getting sick than stopping a sicko from killing children.

Watch the disturbing security camera footage below:

But here’s where things get worse.

It appears that the city police chief was not upset at the actions of the cops in the video.

You see, the police chief was more upset at HOW the video leaked, instead of actually being upset at the contents of the video.

Folks, let me ask you a question.

How would you feel if you saw Capital Hill police offers on their phones and using hand sanitizer while violent protesters were outside?

Don’t you think that would have changed the narrative?

Yet…

The media told us for weeks that the mass shooting was “the gun’s” fault.

They didn’t blame the shooter.

They didn’t blame the cops.

Instead, they blamed the gun.

Why?

Because they wanted to politicize this tragedy instead of waiting for the truth to come out.

Now that the video has been released, we know that the cops weren’t doing everything they could have to stop the mass shooting right then and there.

The Austin-American Statesman reports:

The gunman walks into Robb Elementary School unimpeded, moments after spraying bullets from his semi-automatic rifle outside the building and after desperate calls to 911 from inside and outside the Uvalde school.

He slows down to peek around a corner in the hallway and flips back his hair before proceeding toward classrooms 111 and 112.

Seconds later, a boy with neatly combed hair and glasses exits the bathroom to head back to his class. As he begins to turn the corner, he notices the gunman standing by the classroom door and then firing his first barrage.

The boy turns and runs back into the bathroom.

The gunman enters one of the classrooms. Children scream. The gunfire continues, stops, then starts again. Stops, then starts again. And again. And again.

It is almost three minutes before three officers arrive in the same hallway and rush toward the classrooms, crouching down. Then, a burst of gunfire. One officer grabs the back of his head. They quickly retreat to the end of the hallway, just below a school surveillance camera.

A 77-minute video recording captured from this vantage point, along with body camera footage from one of the responding officers, obtained by the American-Statesman and KVUE, shows in excruciating detail dozens of sworn officers, local, state and federal — heavily armed, clad in body armor, with helmets, some with protective shields — walking back and forth in the hallway, some leaving the camera frame and then reappearing, others training their weapons toward the classroom, talking, making cellphone calls, sending texts and looking at floor plans, but not entering or attempting to enter the classrooms.

Because the media made this story about guns, people will never know the truth.

The scary part is that the media is conditioning people to always blame the gun, so that way gun restrictions can become popular.

It’s not about the truth.

Because if they reported the truth, there would be an outcry to demand WHY cops were on their phones, texting, and getting hand sanitizer!

There is no excuse!

Yet, it’s not the cops that are in trouble.

Instead, the city is mad at whoever leaked the video footage.

They’re upset at HOW the video became public.

But shouldn’t they be upset at the contents of the video?!

Insider reports:

A top Texas law enforcement official slammed the leaking of security footage on Tuesday that showed police waiting to stop a gunman at a Uvalde elementary school in late May.

“I am deeply disappointed this video was released before all of the families who were impacted that day and the community of Uvalde had the opportunity to view it as part of Chairman Dustin Burrows’ plan,” Department of Public Safety Director Steven McCraw said in a statement after the video was released.

Before the leak, Texas state politician Dustin Burrows had said there were plans to release the footage to the community before the general public. The video, however, was obtained and published by the Austin-American Statesman and KVUE.

The four-minute-long harrowing clip includes footage from inside and outside Robb Elementary School on May 24, when a gunman fatally shot 19 children and two adults. At one point in the video, a clip shows heavily armed police officers waiting in a hallway while the massacre unfolded.

The media will never report on this story.

Why?

Because the media is a branch of the Democrat party…

And the Democrat party wants to control guns. They are the party of gun control.

So they won’t report on anything that would contradict their narrative against guns.
