Just In: Ghislaine Maxwell Has Been Put On Suicide Watch

No surprise here.

Authorities have just put convicted child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell under suicide watch just days before she receives sentencing for child sex trafficking.

Convicted sex offender Jeffery Epstein was also placed under “suicide watch” days before he was found dead in a cell.

Many believe Maxwell will end up being killed before she receives her sentence and it will be labeled as a suicide.

As of right now, the entire country is distracted over Roe v. Wade, so if Maxwell was to end up dead it wouldn’t stay in the news cycle too long at all.

ABC News dropped these details:

Jeffery Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell has been put on suicide watch days before her sentencing on five criminal counts, including sex trafficking, according to her lawyer.

She is awaiting sentencing, ahead of Tuesday morning’s hearing, at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

“Yesterday, without having conducted a psychological evaluation and without justification, the MDC placed Ms. Maxwell on suicide watch,” her lawyer, Bobbi Sternheim, wrote to a federal court in New York on Saturday. “She is not permitted to possess and review legal documents and is not permitted paper or pen. This has prevented her from preparing for sentencing.”

Nearly three years ago, her accomplice, Jeffery Epstein was found dead by suicide at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan. The federal government announced last year that MCC would close due to its poor conditions.

The New York Post dropped these details:

Ghislaine Maxwell is on suicide watch — but isn’t really suicidal, her attorney said Saturday.

The declaration of a suicide watch for the disgraced British socialite and Jeffrey Epstein pal had her attorney promising that she’d look to delay Maxwell’s sentencing on charges that she recruited underage girls for Epstein to abuse.

“If Ms. Maxwell remains on suicide watch, is prohibited from reviewing legal materials prior to sentencing, becomes sleep-deprived, and is denied sufficient time to meet with and confer with counsel, we will be formally moving on Monday for an adjournment,” Attorney Bobby Sternheim wrote in a letter to U.S. Circuit Judge Alison Nathan.

Maxwell, 61, hasn’t been able to “properly prepare” because officials at a Brooklyn federal prison abruptly put her in solitary confinement and informed her she was on suicide watch Friday, the letter said, according to Reuters.

As part of her suicide watch, her regular clothes, toothpaste, soap and papers were taken away, Sternheim said.
