WATCH: It’s Not Over Yet—Abortion To Be Codified Into Law?

The recent overturn of Roe V Wade has sent shockwaves across the country.

Conservatives are celebrating the overturn of a 50-year-old verdict, while progressives are vowing to fight back against the recent SCOTUS ruling in every possible way.

Nancy Pelosi stated in her weekly press briefing that Democrats would seek to enshrine abortion into law, in response to the recent Supreme Court ruling.

Abortion will be a key (probably the only) issue propping up the Democrat Party’s platform ahead of the 2022 primary elections.

Pelosi had this to say:

Reuters captured her recent sentiments:

“This cruel ruling is outrageous and heart-wrenching. But make no mistake: the rights of women and all Americans are on the ballot this November.”

The Daily Wire featured the Supreme Court’s 147-page ruling:

“Roe was egregiously wrong from the start. Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences.

And far from bringing about a national settlement of the abortion issue, Roe and Casey have enflamed debate and deepened division,” Alito wrote in his majority opinion.

“It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”
