The recent overturn of Roe V Wade has sent shockwaves across the country.
Conservatives are celebrating the overturn of a 50-year-old verdict, while progressives are vowing to fight back against the recent SCOTUS ruling in every possible way.
Nancy Pelosi stated in her weekly press briefing that Democrats would seek to enshrine abortion into law, in response to the recent Supreme Court ruling.
Abortion will be a key (probably the only) issue propping up the Democrat Party’s platform ahead of the 2022 primary elections.
Pelosi had this to say:
In anticipation of the striking down of Roe v Wade, a far-left #Antifa-linked group named Jane’s Revenge carried out violent attacks on pregnancy resource centers across the US for weeks. Their current flyers in DC call for mass violence tonight: https://t.co/OioJvM0NUu pic.twitter.com/ezSL4YDuN6

Reuters captured her recent sentiments:
“This cruel ruling is outrageous and heart-wrenching. But make no mistake: the rights of women and all Americans are on the ballot this November.”
BREAKING: The Supreme Court just overturned Roe v. Wade
It is unjust. It is wrong. And I’m going to fight it with everything I’ve got.
Send me to the U.S. Senate, and I’d *proudly* vote to codify Roe v. Wade into law.

The United States Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade.

The Daily Wire featured the Supreme Court’s 147-page ruling:
“Roe was egregiously wrong from the start. Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences.
And far from bringing about a national settlement of the abortion issue, Roe and Casey have enflamed debate and deepened division,” Alito wrote in his majority opinion.
“It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”
