Misplaced Priorities: Columbus, Ohio Police Unveil “Pride” Police Car

We can never talk enough about the misplaced priorities in this country from the top down.

This absolutely includes the police.

In Columbus, Ohio, police just unveiled a new patrol car decked out in pride propaganda.

The car was unveiled by openly gay officer Shawn Lutz, who says he’s the “LGBTQIA liaison officer.”

The car is covered in a rainbow, and has the words “REPORT HATE CRIMES” printed multiple times, as well as “love is love.”

In the video, Lutz says he is excited for the cruiser and that it’s “important for representation.”

Columbus police posted this video to their official Twitter account:

Really?

This is what police in Columbus are prioritizing right now?

Also, can we talk about the phrase “report hate crimes?”

What even is a hate crime now?

The definition keeps changing.

Social media response has been fun…
