Multiple sources have confirmed that Sean Hannity encouraged Trump to pardon Hunter Biden.

In leaked text messages between Fox News Host Sean Hannity and former White Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, Hannity texted McEnany that he told Trump to pardon Hunter Biden.

Hannity would go on to tell McEnany that he should no longer mention that the election was stolen.

The Post Millenial Had these Details To Add:

Sean Hannity of Fox News suggested that former President Donald Trump pardon Hunter Biden and drop all mention of a stolen election in an effort to “smooth things over” after the January 6 Capitol Hill riot in 2021.

Texts between Hannity and then-White House Press Sec. Kayleigh McEnany were released during the House Select Committee investigating the riot on Thursday, which reveal that Hannity and Trump were discussing ways to smooth over the potential fallout that would come after the so-called storming.

Among the solutions were to ditch “stolen election talk” and for Trump to attend the inauguration of Joe Biden.
One message from Hannity included the idea to pardon Hunter Biden.

“He was intrigued by the pardon idea!! (Hunter),” Hannity wrote to McEnany, per the text messages released by the panel. Trump made the younger Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine central to his campaign in 2020.

One source familiar with the conversation said that the idea was “never seriously considered” and that it “died on the vine.”

Business Insider Got The Scoop Too:

Fox News host Sean Hannity suggested that President Donald Trump pardon Hunter Biden in a bid to “smooth things over” following the January 6, 2021, insurrection, The Daily Beast reported.

The House select committee investigating the Capitol riot released text messages on Thursday between Hannity and the then-press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, in which the conservative news host discussed the details of his conversation with Trump on January 7, 2021, following the attack on the Capitol.

Hannity and Trump were apparently discussing ways to address the potential fallout in the wake of hundreds of pro-Trump supporters breaching the Capitol in an attempt to overturn the 2020 election, including pitching “no more stolen election talk” and Trump “attending inauguration.”
