Another One? Crews Battle Fire at Food Processing Plant Near Waupaca County (Wisconsin)

Multiple fire departments responded to a fire at a food processing plant just west of Waupaca County.

The blaze reportedly occurred at Festive Foods, 7811 County D, in the Portage County town of Belmont.

Festive Food LLC is a manufacturing facility located near the Portage-Waupaca County line.

Residents located near the Festive Foods plant in Waupaca and Portage Counties are being asked to take precautions as a fire rages in the facility.

WAOW TV reports the fire started Monday morning. Multiple crews from both Portage and Waupaca Counties are on the scene.

Because of the possibility of chlorine fumes in the smoke, residents are being asked to close their windows and limit their time outdoors.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

According to its website, Festive Foods makes frozen pizzas and appetizers.
