Fox News aired a segment on Friday featuring a California family who decided to gender transition their then five-year-old daughter to become a boy.
The segment was part of the traditionally conservative station’s Pride Month series.

During the interview, Hillary Whittington, Ryland’s mother, is captured using the phrase, “I Would Rather Have a Living Son Than a Dead Daughter.”

During the interview, Ryland’s mother recalls that “even before he could speak, he was telling us he was transgender.” She said they had to tell him he was a girl and said she felt it caused him pain to be dressed in girl’s clothing.
Ryland’s father expressed his early concern and discomfort with the idea of having a transgender child. He recalled being part of a support group in Southern California for parents assisting their kids in changing their identified sex.
The Whittingtons gained national attention when they posted a YouTube video chronicling their five-year-old son Ryland’s transition from girl to boy. Since then, mom Hillary has authored a book sharing the details of their family’s journey. The book is entitled “Raising Ryland: Our Story of Parenting a Transgender Child with No Strings Attached.”
The Fox News story faced tremendous controversy from conservative figures.
Matt Walsh, blogger, and documentarian, who just released a film about the subject entitled “What Is A Woman,” voiced his concerns about the segment.

Today Fox ran a long segment for Pride Month celebrating a “trans kid” who “came out as a boy” at the age of five. The piece did not simply report on the controversy surrounding child transitioning. It outright promotes the practice.

I know for a fact that many people at Fox do not approve of this and never would have agreed to air radical far left trans propaganda. But Fox reporter Bryan Lenas chose to do this story and someone at Fox chose to put it on the air. Everyone involved should be fired immediately.

The concern follows some states, like Texas, which have declared gender transition for children as abuse.

In Alabama, lawmakers passed a bill that would make it a felony for a doctor to prescribe puberty blockers or perform gender-change surgery on minors.
Alabama Bans Transgender Grooming of Children
The criminal penalty would be up to 10 years in prison.
However, the Biden Administration supports the practice of permanently mutilating children and released a 'Fact Sheet' detailing its support of multiple transgender initiatives.
Among the White House's announcements was their support of surgical and hormonal therapies for transgender children.
And Fox News ran a segment praising this wicked agenda.
