BREAKING: Jury Finds Sussmann Not Guilty

Michael Sussmann has been found not guilty…

Critics say that the evidence against him was overwhelming, but the jury did not believe the evidence condemned Sussmann beyond a shadow of a doubt…

Sussmann was charged with lying to the F.B.I., and several damning texts were attributed to Sussmann which investigators claim directly proved his guilt.

It remains to be seen if Sussmann will end up in court again following new findings from the Durham investigation…

After a two week trial, and more than a day of deliberations, the jury found that Special Counsel John Durham’s team had not proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Sussmann’s statement was a lie, and that he was, in fact, working on behalf of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and technology executive Rodney Joffe when he brought two thumb drives and a white paper alleging a Trump-Russia connection.

The jury ultimately rejected those claims, apparently swayed by the argument from Sussmann’s lawyer, Sean Berkowitz, who said the prosecution was trying to turn a brief 30-minute meeting more than five years ago into a “giant political conspiracy theory.”
