Latest Update: Mass Shooting at Buffalo Grocery Store; Suspect Allegedly Live Streamed and Posted Manifesto

In another horrifying display of violence, a lone gunman is responsible for the deaths of ten innocent people and wounding three others.

News reports are revealing chilling details regarding the shooter and what led up to this tragedy. The shooter has allegedly left a 106 page manifesto.

NBC New York has released a report on the latest of what’s going on.

At least seven people were killed in a Buffalo, New York, supermarket Saturday afternoon after a gunman carrying a rifle entered the store and opened fire, law enforcement sources said.

The shooter entered the Tops Friendly Market on Jefferson Avenue shortly after 2:30 p.m. and shot at least eight people, according to police sources. Seven of the people died and one person was said to be in critical condition.

Thankfully, the suspected gunman was apprehended by police on the scene.

The suspected gunman was arrested by police at the scene, the sources said, after officials initially reported that he died.

Investigators have already put together a working theory that the suspect is a white supremacist of some kind. This is based on a manifesto the suspect posted online.

Investigators are looking into whether the suspect was motivated by white supremacist ideology, and if he may have posted a manifesto online.

The supermarket is in a predominately Black neighborhood, about 3 miles (5 kilometers) north of downtown Buffalo. The surrounding area is primarily residential, with a Family Dollar store and fire station near the store.

The description of the suspected gunman seems oddly “on-the-nose” for an authentic white supremacist.

Braedyn Kephart and Shane Hill, both 20, pulled into the parking lot just as the shooter was exiting. They described him as a white male in his late teens or early twenties sporting full camo, a black helmet and what appeared to be a rifle.

According to reports including the Gateway Pundit, the suspected shooter live streamed the shooting. Here is a clip taken from the stream of the suspect in the moments leading up to the shootings. It is not graphic.

Users are sharing screenshots of the live stream showing the chaos that ensued.

First responders worked hard to ensure that the loss of life did not get any greater. Here is a video of paramedics providing aid to a victim.

The manifesto that many users are referencing allegedly provided extremely detailed plants on how the assault was going to take place. The offensive language used towards people of color seem to corroborate that this was a racially motivated act of violence.

Locals took to the internet to voice their belief that this was a racist hate crime. Given the demographics of the neighborhood and clientele of the grocery store, the evidence is pretty strong.

Unfortunately, as is usually the case, lawmakers and others are taking to the airwaves to lay the guilt on Donald Trump’s and conservatives’ collective doors.

This is unfortunate given the severity of the tragedy and the value of human life beyond simply backing up a narrative. Tragedy like this should not be used for political ends.

Here are some tweets from users who immediately, without pause to acknowledge the lives of those lost, started to use their tragedy to blame Trump and conservatives.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the victims of this horrific tragedy. We also hope, like every decent human being that the ones responsible be brought to full justice.

As conservatives we know what comes next. In coming days and weeks, New York lawmakers will try and leverage this to take away more second amendment rights from law-abiding citizens while lunatics like these will still be armed and waiting for when the defenseless least expect it.
