Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital is testing vaccines on children ages 6 months to 5 years old. This is based on a press release from their official website.
Atrium Health Levine Children’s is the first and only site in the Charlotte area to offer the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine study to healthy children ages six months old to under five years of age.
The study will evaluate safety, tolerability and immune response to the vaccine among this age group. All participating children will be closely monitored by Levine Children’s highly-skilled clinical team as part of the study.
Any changes to national recommendations for future Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) approvals will be incorporated into the study.
Atrium was quick to point out how many vaccines have been mandated, I mean administered.
“Over 350 million doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine have been given in the U.S. since the vaccine has been emergency authorized and now fully approved,” Turley said. “This gives us an enormous amount of safety information in a very rapid timeframe, because it allows us to quickly learn about rare side effects. That gives me a lot of confidence from a safety standpoint.”
It’s interesting to note how they admit in this statement that the vaccine was rushed, no long term data was possible and that there were indeed side effects. Their PR admin deserves a raise for all that spin.

Also in the article was this claim that droves of parents are “anxiously” waiting to be able to inject their small children with the vaccine.
“Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of people have been living with a great deal of worry,” Turley said.“Parents have been waiting very anxiously because there is currently no way to protect our youngest children. This vaccine study is a hopeful one and gives families and children the opportunity to be protected while becoming a part of history.”
What is troubling to parents of small children is why something like this is needed at all. In fact many point out that given the resilience of young children to get over COVID, it seems suspicious.
Why don’t children get the shingles vaccine? Because they don’t need it, risk of shingles is near zero for kids. Same applies to Covid. Risk of hospitalization & death from Covid for kids is statistically zero. Pass on unnecessary drugs, it’s all risk & no benefit.

All the data suggests a high recovery rate for healthy children. On the other hand, the vaccine has proven to be largely ineffective for children. Why else would the FDA magically decide to drop the efficacy standards of the vaccine when it came to children?

The issue at hand is not whether children should have access to the vaccine. It’s about the rights of parents to decide, independent of government pressure. The government has a recent track record of mandating things that are scientifically proven not to work. Mask mandates anyone?

The efficacy rate dropped from 68% to 12% in children over the age of 5. That’s a massive drop. You’re talking about subjecting your child to a needle and foreign objects for a 12% efficacy rate? The number for children under 5 may be even lower.

If the science and data proves that this is the case, why is the Left so emphatic about making sure small children get the jab? Why are they using fear, intimidation, and emotional manipulation to get people to inject their children?
Many liberals are even demanding the vaccine be made available to our youngest population even before the results of these trials have a chance to come out. This is lunacy. Take this doctor’s tweet.

I can’t believe this person has a medical degree. Out of 25 million children in America under the age of 5, 120 are hospitalized. Keep in mind, these are hospital admissions, not deaths. That equates to 0.0000048%. And for that percentage, we must eventually mandate vaccines for the entire 25 million?
The demand from the Left for this is very real and they don’t want us to wait for clinical trial results.
It is not an option to do nothing.

We are stepping into some risky waters. Looks like the war over parental rights is heating up in a major way. If the Left is pushing this hard, it’s not so parents have a choice. It usually comes with a mandate of some kind not to mention finding ways to get you out of your children’s lives.
