Isn’t Ukraine a warzone?
How can celebrities waltz into the country and leisurely meet people asking for autographs and photos?
Actress Angelina Jolie paid a visit to Ukraine for a photo-op without wearing combat gear, suggesting the war in Ukraine isn’t as serious as the mainstream media wants us to believe.
Jolie, who serves as an envoy for the United Nation’s Refugee Agency (UNHCR), was seen in a café on Saturday waving at onlookers and signing autographs — notably without wearing body armor despite regular reports of shelling in the area.

“Ms Jolie was in the country to meet the children affected by the war and visited hospitals and local organisations helping the injured and displaced,” the BBC reported.
The 46-year-old actress is frequently deployed to war-torn areas to advocate for refugees displaced by conflict, such as her recent visit to Yemen.
But given the reporting of increased military shelling and engagements in the area, some on social media questioned the legitimacy of that reporting given Jolie’s casual visit.
What a dangerous war this is…

Actor Sean Penn met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky last month and called for nuclear retaliation against Russia.
“Even countries that have nuclear weapons can remain intimidated to use them, and we are seeing that now with our own country. And I fear what that legacy is going to be,” Penn previously stated on Hannity.
Another video featuring Jolie showed the actress running for cover after sirens started blaring in Lviv.
