7 News interviewed Professor Brett Sutton, Victoria’s Chief Health Officer, to discuss surging flu cases.
The news analyst asked Sutton if it’s possible to differentiate between influenza and COVID-19 symptoms.
In his response, Sutton made a peculiar statement.

“Flu looks very much the same,” Sutton said.
“In fact, for people who are vaccinated against COVID, it might be a much more significant illness.”
Why would individuals vaccinated against COVID-19 have a worse time handling influenza?
