Arizona State University police say a 19-year-old student was found dead last weekend in the pool area of the Sun Devil Fitness Center.
Adam Wolfe, a spokesperson for the ASU Police Department, said officers responded to a report of an injured person in the fitness center and found Andrew Bryan, 19, unresponsive in the pool area.
Officers administered CPR before paramedics arrived, but Bryan was declared dead on the scene.
Police believe Bryan was swimming laps at the pool, Wolfe said.

As Yahoo noted, no foul play was suspected:
The medical examiner will determine what led to his death, but no foul play is suspected.
The reporting party has not given permission to release their information, Wolfe said, and it is unclear whether they were in the pool area with Bryan.
No further information has been released.
