Psaki Under Federal Investigation Soon?

For those who missed it, Jen Psaki is reportedly heading to MSNBC

Perhaps this explains her recent breakdown over the parental rights bill: she is likely trying to put on a show for her future audience.

The most recent reports indicate that a watchdog group wants a federal investigation launched into Psaki’s plans to pursue a private sector career at MSNBC.

Protect the Public’s Trust claims that Psaki has violated the code of ethics by using her public sector job to disparage competing news networks, such as Fox, while pursuing a role at MSNBC.

Could a federal investigation be coming her way soon? Take a look:

Just The News reports:

The group said that despite the reporting and recusal requirements for federal employees while negotiations for outside employment, as well as Psaki’s own statements regarding those obligations, she “does not appear to have altered her behavior with respect to either her prospective employer or its competitors.”

The Daily Wire explains:

The status of Fox News as a competitor to MSNBC and CNN complicates matters, according to the group, since Psaki has sought “non-federal employment” at both of the left-leaning networks.

“Accordingly, Ms. Psaki’s statements regarding Fox News may be regarded as the use of her official positions for the private gain of Fox News’ competitors, such as MSNBC, with whom she is affiliated in her nongovernmental capacity,” the letter states.
