Introducing Bastyon: The Uncensorable, Blockchain Social Media Network That No One “Owns”

I have something exciting to tell you about…

No, I’m not an investor in it…

No, I’m not an affiliate for it…

No, I’m not being paid in any way to cover this story.

In fact, that’s kind of the point.

That’s why I love it so much.

This is a brand new social media network called Bastyon, which is built entirely on the blockchain.

Here’s what that means and why it’s so exciting…

First, there are no “owners”.

No one owns it.

Not one person, not a group, not shareholders.  No one.

Which means no one controls it.

Just like Bitcoin, there is no one person in control.

You can’t call up the CEO of Bitcoin to influence changes.

There is no CEO of Bitcoin.

Same for Bastyon.

The code is open source and constantly worked on by a community of developers.

It’s not hosted on Amazon servers or any centralized servers of any kind for that matter.

It’s actually hosted via a network effect of everyone using it, which means it’s incredibly decentralized.

In the interview below, one of the lead developers (remember, no one is “in charge”) explains how even when the Internet has gone down in certain areas of the world and no websites would open, Bastyon still worked and connected.

Pretty cool, huh?

I just joined and I’m going to make an effort to post regularly over there because I really love and support what they are doing.

Here’s what my page looks like right now:

Find and follow me here:

When you join, you’ll get an email from “PocketCoin” which I believe is what they used and converted into Bastyon.

They’re updating all of those old references.

So don’t be alarmed or confused by that.

I’m in and I’m loving it so far.

I’d like to get some more friends over there so “FOLLOW” me once you get in.

My profile link is here.

I learned about Bastyon by my friend Sean over at SGT Report.

Sean did a killer with lead developer Daniel S. and they talk through a ton of stuff in the video below.

It got me excited enough to stop what I was doing, sign up, and then write this article, so I think you’re going to like it.

Please enjoy:
