There’s no question that Joe Biden is widely unpopular.
Based on his handling of issues like the economy, international crises, COVID-19, and the southern border, his approval rating is continually circling the drain.
At least one GOP lawmaker is convinced that the situation has gotten bad enough to consider whether Biden should be impeached.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), who serves on the House Judiciary Committee, weighed in on the matter during a recent interview.
As the Washington Times reported:
He said the GOP should weigh impeaching Mr. Biden for failures in office, most notably his administration’s inability to stop a massive influx of illegal immigration through the southern border.
“I think that’s definitely a discussion we have to have,” Mr. Jordan told The Washington Times at a Republican planning retreat in North Florida.
Mr. Jordan’s committee would lead an impeachment trial. But the lawmaker said the decision to try to remove the 79-year-old president from office would have to be agreed upon by every House Republican.
“The conference has to decide,” Mr. Jordan said. “You have to have complete buy-in from the entire conference and the leadership of our conference.”
Plenty of other prominent conservatives seem to endorse the idea of impeaching Biden.
If we impeach Biden, we also have to impeach Kamala.

Day 1: Impeach Biden
Day 2: Investigate the people who control Biden
Day 3: Expose the people behind them
Day 4: File RICO charges against them all
Day 5: Cut off all financing to NGOs/INGOs
Day 6: Cut off all govt funding of media/partisan non-profits
Day 7: Burn the left down

Of course, the Ohio Republican is not the first person to suggest the idea on Capitol Hill.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) floated the notion earlier this year, though he carefully avoided actively endorsing the plan.
According to the Texas Tribune:
U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz predicted Republicans will impeach President Joe Biden as political payback if they win back the U.S. House this year in the midterm elections.
“Yeah, I do think there’s a chance of that, whether it’s justified or not,” he said on the latest episode of his podcast “Verdict with Ted Cruz.”
“Democrats weaponized impeachment,” he said, referring to House Democrats twice voting to impeach former President Donald Trump. “They used it for partisan purposes to go after Trump because they disagreed with him. And one of the real disadvantages of doing that … is the more you weaponize it and turn it into a partisan cudgel, you know, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.”
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has been among the most outspoken proponents of impeachment, as evidenced in the following video from a speech last year.
Do you believe Joe Biden should be impeached?
