The video that you are about to see is absolutely heartbreaking.

A video that has gone viral on Twitter shows two men walking Pitbulls in the streets of Philadelphia; the footage goes on to show the men stopping while seeing a cat outside of a family home.

Once they notice the cat they release their Pitbulls on the cat and watch as their dogs attack the cat mercilessly.

At one point in the video, you can hear them cheering on their Pitbulls.

Watch it here:

The New York Post covered the story:

Authorities are searching for two Philadelphia men who encouraged their dogs to brutally savage a cat named Buddy — shouting “Get him” and “Good boy” as the heinous attack unfolded.

The evil attack was captured on a surveillance camera outside a family’s home in Frankford on Tuesday, the Pennsylvania SPCA said.

The two men could be seen walking by the home with the dogs, which were on leashes, when they suddenly spotted Buddy sitting on the porch.

At one point, one of the men repeatedly shouted “Get him” and “Good boy” before grabbing hold of the leashes.

The dogs appeared to still have hold of Buddy as the cat’s owner rushed out of the home to intervene, the grim footage showed.

Buddy sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a nearby animal hospital, where he is still undergoing treatment.

National File got the scoop too:

The Pennsylvania SPCA is searching for two men spotted on video allegedly siccing their dogs on a family’s cat as it sat on the porch of a home in Philadelphia’s Frankford section on Tuesday morning. Security cameras captured two men walking up to the porch then encouraging their dog to maul the family pet. The cat survived but had to undergo surgery.

In the video, two black males can be seen letting their dogs off the leash while encouraging it to maul the cat. The two men can be seen laughing from a Philadelphia sidewalk as the dog rips into the screeching cat. The attack only stopped when the homeowner came outside and shooed them away.

Buddy, a “gentle and caring” family cat, sustained “life-threatening” injuries. The PSPCA shared an update on the cat’s condition on Wednesday, stating that the cat was in extremely critical condition. PSCPA officials say they are ‘cautiously optimistic’ and shared a link to a fundraiser for the medical care.
