Although much of the entertainment industry has denounced Donald Trump, a few celebrities are still proudly supporting the 45th president.
Kid Rock is one such star who doesn’t seem to care what the Hollywood elite think about him or his pro-Trump attitude.
In fact, he recently opened up about their close connection.
During an interview with Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson, Kid Rock offered some intriguing details about playing golf with Trump and even serving as an informal adviser.
According to The Hill:
Kid Rock says former President Trump asked him for messaging advice on foreign policy, including the fight against ISIS and diplomacy with North Korea, during his time in the White House.
During a wide-ranging interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson that aired this week, Kid Rock recounted a conversation he says he had with Trump on a golf course around the time Trump had ordered a series of attacks on ISIS targets in the Middle East.
“I mean, I was there with him one day when he ended the caliphate. He wanted to put out a tweet. And it was like — I don’t like to speak out of school. I hope I’m not. But he said something like, he was like, tell him like — yes, the tweet was — and I’m paraphrasing — but it was like, if you ever joined the caliphate, and trying to do this, you’re going to be dead,” the rocker said. “He goes, what do you think? I go, awesome. … Like, yes, tweet that out. I was like, I can’t add anything better than.”
Of course, he’s not the only big-time celebrity who has voiced support for Trump.
Thank you President Trump for all you’ve done.
You will not be forgotten.

Kid Rock told Carlson that there are actually a lot more pro-Trump celebrities than the mainstream media would care to admit.
As the Huffington Post explained:
“Me and Trump talk about that a lot. They have no idea how many of us there are,” continued Kid Rock, who regaled Carlson with tales of playing golf with the former president and described Trump as a friend. “The vocal ones, sure, you know who you are. You see ’em. But they have no idea how many of us there are out there that are either Trump fans or just more conservative.”
Here’s a video clip of Kid Rock’s appearance on Fox News.
