Adult film star Stephanie Clifford, commonly known as Stormy Daniels, has been trying to get the best of Donald Trump for years.
This week, however, she scored a major loss in court.
She first gained notoriety in the political realm after Trump became president by claiming that they had an affair in 2006.
Trump has consistently denied her accusation, but she has continued to pursue a defamation suit against him.
That strategy recently backfired and she was ordered to pay Trump $300,000 in attorney fees.
Of course, Trump celebrated the victory while taking a jab at the mainstream media for its biased coverage of the case.
The Boston Herald published his statement in full:
“As I have stated many times throughout the years, I never had an affair with Stormy Daniels, nor would I ever have wanted to. The ruling was a total and complete victory and vindication for, and of me,” Trump said in a statement from his 45 Office email account.
“The lawsuit was a purely political stunt that never should have been started, or allowed to happen, and I am pleased that my lawyers were able to bring it to a successful conclusion after the court fully rejected her appeal. Now all I have to do is wait for all of the money she owes me,” he added.
“P.S. The Fake News probably won’t report this story!” Trump added in the statement.
Even though Trump is still banned from Twitter, his statement was widely shared by supporters who were also touting the court decision as a major victory.

For her part, however, Clifford said she has no intention of complying with the court order.
According to the New York Post:
Porn star Stormy Daniels has promised to defy a court ruling ordering her to pay nearly $300,000 in former President Donald Trump’s attorneys’ fees over her failed defamation lawsuit.
Daniels, 43, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, tweeted Monday she won’t honor Friday’s federal appeals court ruling that likely ends the legal feud between her and Trump stemming from an alleged sexual encounter between the two in 2006.
“I will go to jail before I pay a penny,” the adult film star pledged.
Although she ultimately lost her bid to sue Trump, she clearly capitalized on the media attention.
News outlets and entertainers were happy to give her a platform from which she could disparage and denigrate the 45th president.
One of the most brazen examples of this trend can be found in her interview with late-night host Jimmy Kimmel.
