Vaccinated Singer & TV Host Roslan Shah Hospitalized After Suddenly Collapsing on Live TV3 Malaysia Telecast

Singer, actor, emcee and television host Roslan Shah suddenly collapsed while being interviewed live on TV3 today.

Roslan, 52, who is recovering at a private hospital, fainted during the live telecast of popular women’s talk show Wanita Hari Ini (WHI) at Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya.

While conducting an interview with WHI co-hosts Hawa Rizwana and Fatin Hamimah, he suddenly began to cough and feel dizzy.

New Straits Times reported:

Roslan subsequently fell off his seat, head first, to the shock of Fatin, Hawa and the production team. The live programme was temporarily stopped as studio staff helped revive Roslan.

A doctor on duty in the studio promptly examined Roslan and found that his blood pressure was high. Consequently, the production team called an ambulance which took Roslan to the nearest hospital.

Roslan, whose real name is Roslan Udin, hails from Singapore but largely found fame in Malaysia over the last two decades.

He is best known for participating in the adventure-based reality show Celebrity Fear Factor Malaysia in 2012.

According to his Instagram, Roslan received his “2nd vaccine” on July 26, 2021.

The frightening incident is the latest in a series of individuals who suddenly passed out on live air.
