Why is this sham investigation still going?
I know I sound like a broken record, but the F.B.I. itself has come out to say that there was no ‘insurrection‘, so why are we still seeing this dog and pony show in D.C?
President Trump sought to petition SCOTUS from preventing these political fraudsters from accessing certain documents, but that request has since been denied by SCOTUS.
Only time will tell whether we see an end to this particular political game or not…
Here’s the latest on the decision:
SCOTUS tells Trump no, as expected. National Archives can complete the handover to Jan 6 Cmte (buried in today’s 29 page order list) pic.twitter.com/7x11l4i0ag

Yes. SCOTUS earlier denied his request for a stay — which allowed them to give all his records to the Jan. 6 committee — and this decision formally tells Trump that they won’t hear his case

Reuters confirmed:
The court’s decision to formally reject Trump’s appeal follows its Jan. 19 order that led to the documents being handed over to the House of Representatives investigative committee by the federal agency that stores government and historical records.
Make no mistake, if there's a lawyer who'll do it for him, Donald will sue to block the release of his White House visitor logs. And because SCOTUS hasn't yet ruled on Trump v. Thompson's writ of certiorari, his executive privilege assertion is still valid.

Politico adds:
The only member of the high court who signaled he would have granted Trump’s request for emergency relief was Justice Clarence Thomas.
Trump had sought to block access to more than 750 pages of records that the National Archives, which house the former president’s records, determined were relevant to the Jan. 6 committee’s investigation.
