Biden Administration to Distribute Crack Pipes to Promote ‘Racial Equity’

It’s utterly insane how mainstream media gives the Biden Administration a pass for their overt racism.

The White House’s latest initiative reveals their contempt for what they consider “underserved communities,” which includes African Americans and “LGBTQ+ persons.”

Biden’s Health and Human Services department (HHS) is finalizing a plan to distribute crack pipes to drug addicts to advance ‘racial equity.’

The $30 million grant program will distribute funds to nonprofits and local governments to make drug use ‘safer.’

As part of its ‘Harm Reduction Plan,’ HHS said the kits aim to reduce the risk of infection when smoking substances with glass pipes, which can lead to infections through cuts and sores.

The strategy also includes expanded use of fentanyl testing strips, HIV services in syringe programs, and widened access to opioid overdose reversal treatments.

Applicants for the grants are prioritized if they treat a majority of “underserved communities,” the Washington Free Beacon reports.

A spokesman for the agency told the Washington Free Beacon that these kits will provide pipes for users to smoke crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, and “any illicit substance.”

Democratic-run cities such as San Francisco and Seattle have distributed smoking kits to residents. Some local governments, however, have in recent years backed away from their smoking kit programs over concerns they enable drug abuse. Louisville, Ky., for example, allowed convenience stores to sell smoking kits but later banned them. Legislators in Maryland ditched their distribution plan after facing backlash from local law enforcement and African-American leaders.

Sgt. Clyde Boatwright, president of the Maryland Fraternal Order of Police, said government resources are better spent on preventing drug abuse rather than making it safer.

“If we look at more of a preventive campaign as opposed to an enabling campaign, I think it will offer an opportunity to have safer communities with fewer people who are dependable on these substances,” Boatwright told the Free Beacon.

Senator John Kennedy had this reaction to Biden’s program to advance ‘racial equity’:

Daily Mail noted:

There were an estimated 100,306 drug overdose deaths in the 12-month period ending in April 2021, according to the CDC, a 28.5% increase from just the year prior. Three-quarters of those deaths involved opioids, many of them being synthetic opioids, such as methamphetamine or fentanyl.

Meanwhile, the Justice Department (DOJ) signaled Monday it may allow ‘safe injection sites’ to open up across the U.S. Such sites would be safe havens where drug users could use heroin and other narcotics freely without risking arrest in an environment monitored by health professionals.

The DOJ told the Associated Press it was ‘evaluating’ such facilities and talking to regulators about the ‘appropriate guardrails.’ The DOJ under the Trump administration had prosecutors who fought aggressively against a plan to open safe consumption sites in Philadelphia.

‘Although we cannot comment on pending litigation, the Department is evaluating supervised consumption sites, including discussions with state and local regulators about appropriate guardrails for such sites, as part of an overall approach to harm reduction and public safety,’ the agency said in a statement Friday to the AP.

The backward policies of this administration will only deteriorate the communities it’s purported to assist.

Crackpipes and ‘safe injection sites’ enable the pandemic of drug addiction that inflicts many parts of the United States.

It’s another devious agenda to demoralize American communities Democrats claim they wish to help.
