Democrat New York City Mayor Eric Adams is in hot water right now.
The newly elected mayor of New York City is under fire after a video of him from 2019 shows him telling a crowd that “Every day in the police department, I kicked those crackers’ a**”.
Adams who was a former police captain was bragging about how he was a better police officer than his white colleagues.
Adams has since apologized but his comments come just days after two NYC police officers were shot and killed.

During the Mayoral Campaign #EricAdams called me & @AndrewYang racist.  But when you call white cops "crackers" like Eric Adams did, wouldn't you consider that racist? Time to damn your river of divisiveness and apologize.https://t.co/koZCBOzq3U#NYC #NYPD @NYCMayor

The New York Post had more on the story:
Mayor Eric Adams apologized Friday after an old clip resurfaced where the mayor was recorded saying he was a superior cop compared to his “cracker” colleagues during his time in the New York City Police Department.
“Every day in the police department, I kicked those crackers’ ass,” now-mayor Adams says in the video at a private Harlem Business Alliance event in 2019.
“Man, I was unbelievable in the police department with 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement,” Adams, who retired as a captain in the NYPD, says in the video referencing the group he co-founded.
“[I] became a sergeant, a lieutenant and a captain. You know the story, some people all of a sudden trying to reinvent me, but the reality is what I was then is who I am now.”
This is *not* the same guy people saw during the campaign.đź”»https://t.co/pR2Su4cJ9P

Fox News got the scoop too:
An unearthed video of newly-minted New York City Mayor Eric Adams shows him using a racial slur in a talk on policing.
The 2019 video shows Adams speaking to a crowd at the Harlem Business Alliance about his rise through the ranks of the New York Police Department (NYPD).
While speaking to the crowd, Adams uses a racial slur to refer to the White officers he outperformed as he grew his career as a police officer.
“Every day in the police department, I kicked those crackers’ a–, man,” Adams said in the video reviewed by Fox News Digital. “I was unbelievable in the police department.”
