FBI Raids Center for COVID-19 Control In Chicago

Those who have used Covid-19 as a cash grab opportunity are starting to face the music.

A Covid-19 testing center called the Center for COVID Control in Chicago was just raided by FBI agents after being under investigation by several government health groups and the AG of Illinois for several months.

It was reported that the Center for Control in Chicago has received over $124 million Federal Government to open up pop-up testing centers all across the United States.

The Kwame Raoul the AG of Illinois stated that the testing center is under investigation due to the fact: “Complaints have ranged from testing results being delayed or not received at all, to results being provided to individuals who were never administered a test, to tests being stored improperly”.

Did you catch that?

People in Chicago and in other parts of the United States have received results from a Covid-19 test without ever being tested.

NBC Chicago had more on the story:

The FBI has searched the headquarters of a suburban Chicago-based COVID-19 testing company at the center of a state investigation.

A spokesperson for the Health and Human Services Inspector General told NBC News on Monday that federal agents had executed a search warrant at the Rolling Meadows headquarters for the Center for COVID Control, which operates pop-up COVID testing sites around the country.

The FBI spokesperson confirmed to NBC News that the agency conducted “court -authorized law enforcement activity in Rolling Meadows” on Saturday.

One day earlier, the Illinois Attorney General’s office said the company would not be reopening for the “foreseeable future” as the office continues to investigate complaints.

Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul said the Center for COVID Control, which had already voluntarily suspended operations during the investigation, agreed to “postpone the reopening of any pop-up testing locations in Illinois for the foreseeable future.”

“Although the company voluntarily suspended operations, my office contacted company officials to demand that the Center for COVID Control immediately stop engaging in any fraudulent or deceptive conduct, particularly with respect to the delivery of testing results or billing,” Raoul said in a statement. “In addition to evaluating residents’ complaints, attorneys from my Consumer Fraud Division interviewed former employees of the Center for COVID Control.”

This has not just happened in Chicago though.

A Center for COVID Control in Minnesota is also under fire, Block Club Chicago who has been covering the story from the beginning  had more on the story:

The Center for COVID Control, a locally based chain of COVID-19 testing pop-ups being investigated by a range of state and federal agencies, and its lab are being sued by the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison announced the suit Wednesday. Ellison said the company and its lab, Doctors Clinical Lab, which has billed the federal government for more than $124 million since the start of the pandemic, gave people incorrect or falsified test results or didn’t deliver results at all.

The Center for COVID Control is based out of suburban Rolling Meadows and has 300 locations nationally, including many in Chicago.

Numerous Chicagoans told Block Club they received negative test results from Doctors Clinical Lab, only to get a positive elsewhere. Others never received results, or received them so late the test was effectively useless. Some people who didn’t even test at the sites were still sent results.

Where have we heard about results being faked in Democrat cities before?

I think you know what I’m hinting at.
