We the American people do not want another foreign war.
The United States has not won nor achieved key objectives in any foreign excursion since WWII despite having the strongest military in the world.
Why is this the case? Simple—power isn’t everything, and in certain cases it could even be a liability—asymmetrical warfare works.
Despite all of this NATO appears to be gearing up for war in Eastern Europe.
The latest reports indicate that NATO has placed extra troops on standby while simultaneously sending more jet fighters and warships to Eastern Europe.
At the same time this is going on, Biden has practically invited Russia to invade Ukraine, so it begs the question: is war coming?
Here’s what we currently know:
Dear international media, when covering 🇺🇦, please remember, Ukrainians are not pawns in a geopolitical game. We are real people, 40 mln, with our agency, ideas and aspirations. Majority of us (~60%) want to join the EU&NATO. We are ready to resist Russiahttps://t.co/eUn7oJdvO4

The Epoch Times had more details:
“I welcome Allies contributing additional forces to NATO,” NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said in a statement on Monday.
“NATO will continue to take all necessary measures to protect and defend all Allies, including by reinforcing the eastern part of the Alliance,” he added. “We will always respond to any deterioration of our security environment, including through strengthening our collective defense.”
No mention of Germany doing anything. That country, having cut its use of coal and nuclear power, is now heavily dependent on Russian natural gas. Germany is a major obstacle to strong NATO response to Putin. https://t.co/hPTJsrSyY4

President Biden just returned from Camp David and headed directly into the Oval Office. He did not respond to shouted questions about the situation with Ukraine, Russia and whether he is sending US troops to NATO allies in Eastern Europe. pic.twitter.com/Ba0wuGfcYa

Reuters explains:
Denmark, Spain, France and the Netherlands were all planning or considering sending troops, planes or ships to eastern Europe, NATO said. Ukraine shares borders with four NATO countries: Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.
“The United States has also made clear that it is considering increasing its military presence in the eastern part of the Alliance,” it said.
U.S. officials said the Pentagon was finalising efforts to identify specific units that could deploy.
