Kamala Harris Gives Nonsensical Answer When Asked About Inflation

During a CBS interview, Kamala Harris gave an incoherent answer after she was asked about inflation.

“Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan asked Harris if it was wrong for the Biden Administration to consider inflation transitory heading into year three of a pandemic.

The answer Harris gave left much to be desired:

“We have to address the fact that we have got to deal with the fact that folks are paying for gas, paying for groceries, and are …need solutions to it. So let’s talk about that,” she began.

Harris talked in circles for a few moments, and then claimed that the Biden Administration ordered ports to operate 24/7.

She finally settled on pushing Joe Biden’s “Build Back Better” plan as her final answer.

This kind of unpreparedness from Harris leads back to previous reports from some of her ex-staffers, who claimed that she rarely prepared for meetings and often refused to read briefing materials.

Many of these staffers have left on their own accord due to Harris’ lack of professionalism.

Fox News reported on Kamala Harris' ridiculous answer to inflation:

Harris did not provide a clear answer to the question of combating inflation. She appeared to stumble on describing the process before pivoting to support for Biden’s Build Back Better plan, which has been delayed because Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., announced his opposition to the legislation.

"We have to address the fact that we have got to deal with the fact that folks are paying for gas, paying for groceries, and are -- need solutions to it. So let's talk about that," Harris said. "Short-term solution includes what we need to do around the supply chain, right? So, we went to the ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach, Savannah, Georgia, and said, 'Hey, guys, no more five days a week, eight hours a day; 24/7, let's move the products because people need their product – they need what they need.' We're dealing with it in terms of the long term. And that's about what we need to do to pass Build Back Better. It strengthens our economy."

The Daily Wire has more on the criticism that was leveled at Harris from former staffers:

As detailed in reports published this month, unhappy former Harris staffers ripped the VP for apparently refusing to read her briefing materials and acting like a “bully,” according to The Washington Post.

“It’s clear that you’re not working with somebody who is willing to do the prep and the work,” one former staffer said, Business Insider reported. “With Kamala you have to put up with a constant amount of soul-destroying criticism and also her own lack of confidence. So you’re constantly sort of propping up a bully and it’s not really clear why.”

Former Harris staffer Gil Duran told the Post the high turnover rate for staffers in the VP’s office “[point] back to her,” the report detailed.

Harris revieved plenty of pushback and mockery for her answer to the question on social media as well:

Harris has never given a coherent response to inflation.

One Twitter user posted a video of her trying to explain inflation last month:
