She finally decided it was time to bring out the race card and the sex card.
Harris allegedly told confidants that the media coverage of her would be different if she were a white male.
Harris refuses to take responsibility for her many failures as Biden’s #2, including her refusal to deal with the southern border crisis.
It’s simply easier for her to play the race and sex cards here, even though one of Biden’s criterion for his running mate was that she be a woman…
Vice President Kamala Harris has told confidants that news coverage of her would be different if she were a white male, The New York Times reported.
Harris also has told friends that unmanageable issues — e.g. southern border crisis, voting rights — that she has tackled have created difficulties for her, the Times reported Thursday.
"I think it's no secret that the different things she has been asked to take on are incredibly demanding, not always well understood publicly and take a lot of work as well as a lot of skill," Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg told the Times.
Here's more on Harris' nonsensical claim from our friends at the New York Post:
Vice President Kamala Harris is grumbling behind the scenes about negative news coverage and low morale in the White House, where she believes she’s being treated differently due to her race and gender, according to a report.
Harris, the first woman and first person of color to hold the nation’s second-highest office, has “privately” told allies she believes she’d get better media coverage if she were white and male like her 48 predecessors, the New York Times reported Thursday.
Harris has even turned to prominent political names like Hillary Clinton — the first female Democratic presidential nominee — to determine her next moves, according to the report.
“There is a double standard; it’s sadly alive and well,” Clinton told the newspaper. “A lot of what is being used to judge her, just like it was to judge me, or the women who ran in 2020, or everybody else, is really colored by that.”
Joe Biden promised that his VP pick would be a woman.
That alone eliminates Harris' sexism theory.
