A decision was made that got the federal case against the Epstein guards dropped.

The decision came during Maxwell’s trial on December 13th but became public Thursday, December 30th.

The two prison guards got arrested in November of 2019 for faking records when Epstein was committing suicide in his cell.

They did not check on Epstein every 30 minutes though he was on suicide watch.

The jail protocol for the guards is a 30-minute check for suicidal people and they broke the protocol.

The logs were faked to show that they had been checking on the suicidal Epstein every 30 minutes though they weren’t.

The Federal Prosecutor dropped the charges, even though both guards admitted to faking the charges due to a deal that was made previously.

NPR reported:

The federal prison guards tasked with monitoring Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender, the night he committed suicide have been offered a deferred prosecution deal.

-Catherine Whealon, NPR, May 2021

Reuters stated:

In a Thursday filing in Manhattan federal court, prosecutors asked a judge to dismiss claims against Tova Noel and Michael Thomas, after both complied with the six-month deferred prosecution agreements they agreed to in May.

-Jonathan Stempel, Reuters, Dec 30, 2021

Both guards plead not guilty and took an agreement based on the fact they would help with the Epstein investigation.

An Obama-era judge is the one who approved the deal, which included 100 hours of community service and six months of supervision, yet Democrats are still yelling about a cover-up.

These same Democrats are cheering for a Portland woman who participated in the riots and hurt officers because she got off light with 30 hours of community service.

When will the double standards end?

The public conference set for the 16th was canceled on the 15th of December after it was said during Maxwell’s trial that the guards completed the agreement and community service hours.
