Biden Mandate Blocked In Florida

Biden’s mandate has just seen another successful challenge, yet it too has had its own legal victories.

The state continues to be a bastion of freedom amid Covid hysteria, and that’s probably why people are flocking to the state in droves…

According to reports, a federal court has blocked the mandate in Florida, at least for now…

The ultimate legal fate of the mandate will be decided by SCOTUS, but the civil and sociopolitical turmoil that will likely arise if SCOTUS votes to uphold Biden’s mandate will likely be significant.

Here are the latest developments in the legal battle against Biden’s mandate:

The recent ruling was detailed by The Epoch Times:

The executive order requires almost all federal employees to get a COVID-19 vaccine as a condition of employment, including civilian federal employees and contractors. Regular COVID-19 testing wouldn’t be an option, but religious or medical exemptions from vaccination may be granted.

U.S. District Judge Steven Merryday on Wednesday granted a motion by Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody for a preliminary injunction. Florida had filed its case on Oct. 28, naming Biden, NASA Administrator Bill Nelson, six other officials, and five federal agencies as defendants.

Bloomberg Law cites the potential scope of the mandate:

The federal contractor shot mandate spurred a series of federal lawsuits by other conservative-led states that also seek to block implementation.

The Biden administration mandate would apply to roughly a quarter of the U.S. workforce and affect companies such as Lockheed Martin Corp., Microsoft Corp., Alphabet Inc.‘s Google, and General Motors Co.
