Newsom Vows To Use Texas Abortion Law As Model For Gun Control

The democrats are off their rocker-again.

Especially the Governor of California, per his usual.

Newsom states he wants to follow the model of the Anti-Abortion Law which allows a private citizen to sue someone who helps a woman get an abortion in the state of Texas, for gun control.

This would allow private citizens to sue corporations and private individuals who assist in manufacturing and or selling “ghost gun kits” and AR-15’s.

Thereby completely ignoring Federal Law (The Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act 2005)

Of course other democrats want to follow his lead:

I have news for you Newsom….

Abortion (killing babies) is NOT in the constitution, owning firearms are.

Here are some reactions to the recent news:

Gavin Newsom is trying to compare apples to oranges and ultimately, his argument is invalid.

NATIONAL POLL: Do You Trust Fox News?

According to the Texas Tribune, the Senator who wrote the anti-abortion law, had this to say about it:

State Sen. Bryan Hughes, R-Mineola, who wrote the law, was dismissive of Newsom’s effort to restrict gun rights by using Texas’ legal strategy to ban many abortions. He said he didn’t think his enforcement mechanism would be “effective against firmly established constitutional rights.”

“I would tell Gov. Newsom good luck with that,” Hughes said Monday. “If California takes that route, they’ll find that California gun owners will violate the law knowing that they’ll be sued and knowing that the Supreme Court has their back because the right to keep and bear arms is clearly in the Constitution, and the courts have clearly and consistently upheld it.”

Gun Control never works, never will work.

Gun Rights are in the constitution, abortion is not.

Sorry Newsom and democrats, your argument is invalid, as it usually is.
