Biden Repeats Afghanistan Lie, Doubles Down on Botched Exit, then Claims American Deaths Were Inevitable

Joe Biden still refuses to apologize or admit to his botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, a mistake that left dozens of Americans dead, and hundreds stranded.

Rather than take responsibility, Biden instead repeated a proven lie.

He claimed, as he has before, that he opposed the war from the beginning.

This is of course false, and can be proven so simply by looking at the public Congressional records from 2001.

Biden also claimed that there was no way to get everyone out of Afghanistan without suffering casualties.

“Everybody says, ‘You could have gotten out without anybody being hurt,’” he said.

“No one’s come up with a way to indicate to me how that happens.”

This man will not take any responsibility for what he’s done to this country…

Fox News has the latest on Biden's dismissal of criticism for his failure in Afghanistan:

During an interview with CBS News Correspondent Rita Braver, Biden brought up Afghanistan, claiming that he opposed the war from the beginning and shifting responsibility for the disastrous withdrawal.

"Afghanistan. Well, I've been against that war in Afghanistan from the very beginning," Biden said. "We're spending $300 million a week in Afghanistan over 20 years."

"Everybody says, ‘You could have gotten out without anybody being hurt,’" he continued. "No one's come up with a way to indicate to me how that happens."

Biden claimed that getting Americans out of Afghanistan was impossible without casualties.

The truth is that Afghanistan was one of the greatest failures in US history.

Joe Biden is also a liar when he says that he was "against" the war in Afhanistan to begin with.

Biden fully supported the war back in 2001, as Congressional records prove.

The Federalist with more on Biden's true stance on the war in Afghanistan:

President Joe Biden, a longtime supporter of a U.S. military presence in Afghanistan, claimed this weekend that he’s always been against the prolonged war in the Middle Eastern country.

“Well, I’ve been against that War in Afghanistan from the very beginning,” Biden lied in an interview with CBS News’ Rita Braver. “We spent $300 million dollars a week in Afghanistan over 20 years.”

Congressional records, however, indicate that Biden, who was a Democrat senator from Delaware at the time, did vote in favor of “Authorization for Use of Military Force” on Sept. 14, 2001, just three days after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He was one of the 98 “yeas” who agreed to move forward with the legislation that authorized “the use of United States Armed Forces against those responsible for the recent attacks launched against the United States.”

You can tell that Joe Biden is lying if his lips are moving.
