McConnell Is An Even Bigger RINO Than We Thought

Whenever I see or hear anything about Mitch McConnell I know I am about to hear some establishment views.

However, there were times when I would take what he said or did with a grain of salt. I would think to myself: perhaps he is simply playing the political game, and does not actually hold these views.

Today that small benefit of the doubt has been forever erased in my mind….

According to reports, Mitch McConnell has used his influential role to remove an organizer from Bob Dole’s funeral.

The organizer’s only crime? He was registered to take part in the peaceful portions of the January 6th demonstrations…..

That’s right. McConnell went out of his way on this one to remove someone from a funeral because of the slightest implication in events which occurred on the 6th.

He is a RINO not simply for the political clout, or in a publicly facing way for personal gain. He is a RINO to his very core…mind, body, and soul….

Here’s more on the story:

According to The Hill:

“Tim Unes served as an advance staffer for the late Senator Bob Dole’s 1996 presidential campaign,” Steve Schwab, a Dole family spokesperson, said in a statement obtained by The Hill.

“Along with a large network of former staff, Mr. Unes volunteered his time to serve on the advance team for this week’s memorial events honoring Senator Dole. Yesterday, I made Senator Elizabeth Dole aware of Mr. Unes’ alleged involvement in the events of January 6, 2021.

Senator Dole was previously unaware of his participation and terminated his volunteer role.”

Business Insider provided some background context:

Dole, who died on Sunday at age 98, lied in state at the Capitol on Thursday, and his funeral will be held at the Washington National Cathedral on Friday, per The Times. A spokesperson for the Elizabeth Dole Foundation told The Times that Unes helped plan the events in Washington, DC.
