White House Chief of Staff Ronald Klain Claims Media Treats Biden WORSE than Trump

Do you want to know how out of touch Democrats are with reality?

You only have to listen to White House Chief of Staff Ronald Klain to find out…

According to Klain, the media treats Biden WORSE than President Trump.

Unfortunately, Klain wasn’t joking.

He was dead serious.

Take a look at what Klain tweeted:

The media treats Biden as badly as – or worse than – Trump. Here’s proof

From his verified Twitter account:

I wish we could say this was parody, but he appears to truly believe this.

Fox News confirms:

White House chief of staff Ronald Klain confused readers Sunday as he promoted a Washington Post op-ed that argued President Biden gets worse media treatment than his predecessor, former President Trump, whose verbal duels with the press were weekly staples during his four-year residency at 1600 Penn.

“For your consideration,” Klain tweeted with a link to the op-ed from Dana Millbank, titled, “The media treats Biden as badly as – or worse than – Trump. Here’s proof.”

Millbank’s “proof” was research from Forge.ai, a data analytics unit of the information company FiscalNote. The study used algorithms focused on adjectives and their placement in articles – more than 200,000 of them – to rate the coverage Biden received in the first 11 months of 2021 and the coverage Trump got in the first 11 months of 2020. The process was referred to as “sentiment analysis.”

“My colleagues in the media are serving as accessories to the murder of democracy,” Millbank said.

“Too many journalists are caught in a mindless neutrality between democracy and its saboteurs, between fact and fiction. It’s time to take a stand,” he concluded.

But media analysts can recall that, without relying on algorithms, Trump’s relationship with the media was infamously combative. Magazines ran unflattering illustrations of the former president, while liberal networks like CNN ran editorialized chyrons such as, “Angry Trump Turns Briefing Into Propaganda Session” during an April 2020 coronavirus task force briefing. More notably, for years, liberal outlets ran with the narrative the Trump campaign colluded with the Kremlin to win the 2016 presidential election.

Nevermind the fact that 90% of “journalists” voted for Biden.

Nevermind the fact that these major media corporations donate to the Democrat party.

And nevermind the fact that the media lied about Trump every single day.

And Klain wants us to believe the Biden has it worse?!

Give me a break!

Fortunately, social media users are catching on to this gaslighting:

Here’s the funny part:

Klain claims that his assessment is based on objective data.

LOL.

Per his op-ed in the Washington Post:

Artificial intelligence can now measure the negativity with precision. At my request, Forge.ai, a data analytics unit of the information company FiscalNote, combed through more than 200,000 articles — tens of millions of words — from 65 news websites (newspapers, network and cable news, political publications, news wires and more) to do a “sentiment analysis” of coverage. Using algorithms that give weight to certain adjectives based on their placement in the story, it rated the coverage Biden received in the first 11 months of 2021 and the coverage President Donald Trump got in the first 11 months of 2020.

The findings, painstakingly assembled by FiscalNote vice president Bill Frischling, confirmed my fear: My colleagues in the media are serving as accessories to the murder of democracy.

After a honeymoon of slightly positive coverage in the first three months of the year, Biden’s press for the past four months has been as bad as — and for a time worse than — the coverage Trump received for the same four months of 2020.

But here’s the sad part:

Even Klain’s own data shows that Trump had worse coverage for 10 out of 12 months.

Personally, I believe that it’s more likely that Trump had worse coverage completely!

But I wanted to point out the shallowness of Klain’s own analysis.

What do you think?

Is the media fair or unfair towards Biden?

What about compared to Trump?
